Description
This project consisted of the refurbishment of all existing 15 storey public works building in Perth, and the addition of 3 light weight residential floors. The main architectural feature of the building was a curved roof, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House on top of double storey penthouses and large add on balconies with river views. The success of the project was dependant on reducing the building's line loads and choosing a load path for the additional floors that made use of some previously over foundations.
